I spent a few lovely hours on Bustins this past weekend. All looks very well.
FYI-if you haven’t heard, it looks like it is going to be a bad year for brown tail moths. For the first few weeks the caterpillars return to their nests (tents) at night, but after that they remain on the leaves.
If you are planning an early season trip, factor in a little caterpillar massacre time. In the evening (if possible) trim off the nests and drown them. One female can lay 200-400 eggs when she’s grown up (July)…
